Treatment periods 2012
Hearing and balance disorders are at the clinic in Sweden being treated during the following planned periods:
Spring 2012: Therapy starts on Friday the 17th of February 2012 and finishes at the end of April 2012. Examination must be carried through before the start of the treatment period. One to two days in advance for foreign patients is sufficient. Examination is also carried through when therapy is not conducted.
Autumn 2012: Therapy starts on Friday the 14th of September 2012 and finishes at the end of November 2012. Examination must be carried through before the start of the treatment. One to two days in advance for foreign patients is sufficient. Examination is also carried through when therapy is not conducted.
The treatment of hearing and balance disorders is carried through during a treatment period with a duration af ten continuous weeks including a total number of 20 treatment sessions per patient and treatment period. The treatment cost is SEK 700 per treatment session. The total cost for a complete treatment period is SEK 14 000. Additional to this cost is an initial examination cost of SEK 700. There is a possibility for additional costs for additional FORT blood sample tests that may have to be analyzed in order to be able to follow up unhealthy and abnormal levels of free radicals in blood. The cost per FORT test is SEK 300.
Before treatment can be started an examination must be carried through. The cost is SEK 700.
Patients who are eager to come to the clinic for a treatment should come to an examination before the treatment is planned to start. There are only two treatment periods per year at the clinic in Sweden. Due to the fact that the Audio Laser Clinic nowadays is well known both in Sweden and internationally, there is a risk that treatment is full booked before a treatment period starts. The clinic is however trying as far as possible to treat as many patients as possible, and especially severe cases that requires instant treatment (such as sudden defness - sensorineural hearing loss that recently struck the patient).
